Prez Sez Date: Tue, 24 Oct 1995 09:31:12 -0500 (CDT) From: Kevin Thornton Hello again, It's time for another newsletter. The time seems to be flying by this semester. We have finally cemented some plans for projects this year. The Boy Scout project is about to get underway. I think this will be great. I'll be contacting a scoutmaster very soon. The club has an outstanding reputation as being one of the most active Registered Student Organizations on campus. Our hard work so far this year will no doubt continue that reputation. So, on with the projects... I have several other things in mind for the club. How about CPR training? I've been told that the nice folks at the health center will come to us. We could get this done after one or two of our business meetings. Think about it. More on this later. Don't forget about the antenna party coming up on November 12. And, we'll be having a severe weather spotting course in February. Well, that's all I have right now. I'll see you all at the meetings. Kevin KC5LDC Pop'Comm' Check the July issue of Popular Communications. There is a nice piece about the early history of 5YM and KUOA ... Thanks to ARCUA Alumni Jim Haynes W6JVE for bringing this to our attention. 73 DE W5YM =========================================================================== Considering joining the ARRL?
